“Words cannot describe the view from the deck. My wife and I were looking to get away for a few days to relax. From the moment we arrived we could not have been more relaxed. A beautiful example of a log home, cabin theme throughout the whole house, from the wood stairs to the wood door latches. We're already planning to return in the fall.”

“We stayed here for a trip to Linville Gorge and loved how peaceful the space was. We sat on the deck with the gorgeous view, played board games in the living room, and drove to hikes and waterfalls during the day. A wonderful place to rest and take in nature. We will be back!”

“Had a relaxing one-week stay. The view from both porches was amazing. The place is rustic, clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Hiked around the neighborhood and got a good workout from the steep terrain. The cabin is 30+ minutes from a grocery store, so plan accordingly.”

“Tucked away nicely in a gated community. It felt very private and peaceful. Although it rained all weekend, we still caught glimpses of the beautiful views. Perfectly sandwiched between Linville Falls and Marion. Everything was very clean and tidy.”

“A lovely mountain weekend getaway for our little family. Amazing views! We loved having our morning coffee out on the patio, and watching the storm roll in while dry and cozy under the overhang. The inside is super cozy with a gas fireplace and full kitchen. There was a plumbing issue and the hosts sent a plumber out the same day.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, quiet, safe location and the cabin was cozy, clean and well equipped. It was very nice to have a choice between the covered and open deck, and we spent much of our time on one or the other. We loved Linville Falls, the winery, Banks Creek Barn, and great pizza nearby at Birdies.”

“Lovely little cozy cabin high in the hills with exceptional views. Be aware that everything is at least a 30-minute ride, so come prepared. Recommend the Tom Creek Falls Trail for a short hike with an impressive waterfall at the end. Our hosts were terrific and very thoughtful with suggestions.”

“The hosts were fantastic, very responsive at a moment's notice. The back porch was peaceful, with plenty of seating for outdoor dinners and wine-downs and exceptional views. The community was great as well, everyone friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.”

“Magnificent cabin in the Western NC mountains. Great for families or friend getaways. Paved road access makes navigating easy, but views are not sacrificed. Panoramic back porch provides expansive looks at the valley and other peaks.”

“Cozy cabin with a spectacular view! We loved our stay. Could sit all day on the deck. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are a little awkward because the attic ceiling is low in spots, but still functional and comfy. Everything else is super comfortable.”
